Scott Basile is a San Diego based commercial photographer specializing in interiors and architecture.
Originally from Upstate New York, Scott showed an interest in art at an early age. He spent several years making pottery and three-dimensional art before attending college with an art scholarship. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University, Scott spent two years as a graphic designer before embarking on a career as a photographer.
Scott's personal work goes back to the origins of photography. He makes collodion photographs as they did in the 1850s using antique cameras and lenses, mixing his own chemistry, and shooting on metal and glass. You can view this work at www.blackarttintype.com.
